Still working out some bugs and features.

I'm thinking address decoding is good to have but sometimes the data in Hex isn't as useful so I have added reading from USB to change the mode. ASCII, Decimal, Hexadecimal, and Octal. I see there is a way to read frequency using PWM? Not sure how that works at all I found python code for measuring frequency but so far no C code not that could be done on the fly.

What I need is to measure the clock when it transitions from high to low since the bus is held high I have states that can be used to know when to measure from the PIO I just need to know how to set this up as I don't want to continuously measure the clock pin I only want it when the clock is running and that could be short 8 - 9 cycles. Is this possible to do am I looking in the right place with PWM counter?

Thanks
