The PI5 won't turn off due to overheating unless it hits 110DegC, which is extremely unlikely unless it is faulty and all throttling has somehow failed. Even in a 70C oven, I was unable to make devices exceed 105C when under stress.Hi All,
My Raspberry Pi 5 was automatically turning off due to overheating, but I installed an active cooler, and the problem has been resolved.
May I know the temperature limit at which the Raspberry Pi automatically turns off or reboots?
Thanks in advance![]()

Note that it turns itself off at that temperature - it does not crash, and you will get a console warning that it is turning off. Did you get that?
