Im making a Pi (currently on Pi3b+) handheld that would gratly benefit from a upgrade to Pi 5 8Gb .
i have a bought a dsi display aleardy tha fit perfectly with the pi 3 and i was considering if its compatible with the pi 5 using a cable like this![Image]()
i went and asked the supplyer and he said the display is not compatible "it does not respond with the pi 5" and he said that he is awaiting some new stock from his oem that will have some changes at some ?capacitors? q![:?]( "Confused")
the display is the WHS18396

Whats goin on realy with DSI displays and the Pi . DOes the change of connector rendered the displays incompatible?
