No different to before. It was always more for a case, more for a cooler, more for a PSU, more for an SSD. That hasn't changed from a Pi4. So all of that was fine before.Plus $10 if you want a case or cooler, another $10 for a PSU, plus more if you want analogue audio out or a headphone socket, and more still if you want an SSD or HDD and some way to connect it.That price is only $5 more than before for its respective level in the range.
I couldn't say the OP is wrong. I would likely also choose the HP over a Pi 5 but I am biased because I hate the way connectors come out of right-angled sides of the Pi and the HP case is so much nicer IMO.
From memory the case, uSD, 'cooler' if you want one, PSU are still the same for a Pi4 and Pi5.
You have an option of more powerful versions.
OK a fan is more likely a new addition with a Pi5, and the people that need audio not over HDMI or BT.
So all in cost is $10 more (fan and price increase).
