Thanks for you help, I got the program running after setting up a python virtual environment, I think a lot of people will get tripped up on this as people have published the python script I posted like in's going to work on the Pi 5 which is almost certainly going to be running Bookworm version of Raspberry Pi OS, which won't have the python vcgencmd module installed out of the box.
