Don't they do the double glass windows anymore in recording studios?
The Zero 2 W is said to be good at streaming video (never tried myself), but I don't think it would be capable of showing the other stream simultaneously on a screen. Most zeros are used headless because the desktop takes too much memory. Streaming to a tablet may be a solution for the vocal booth, I don't know. The receiving end of the control room could be anything, you probably already have a screen on the recording equipment.
A Raspberry 4 or 5 would run pretty hot, and you don't want to introduce a fan in the booth.
Ha yeah usually it is glass lol but this time it's going to be all digital for maximum sound proofing. Wires go through insulated walls and insulated outlets. They have 2 monitors inside the booth and a monitor outside. I had a idea of using MotionEye OS inside of Raspberry Pi OS Lite. I'm testing that out as we speak
